San Jose City (Nueva Ecija, Philippines PH) strategic location gained the title of being a "Gateway to the North" as the city's central business district provides easy access to the province of Nueva Vizcaya and the Cagayan Valley Region (55 kms), to Pangasinan and the Ilocos Regions (38 kms), to the country's Summer Capital Baguio City (116 kms) and likewise to the Dingalan Port (70 kms) in Aurora Province.

The city is situated in the northern part of Nueva Ecija, 47 kilometers away from the seat of the provincial government in Palayan City; 160 kms. north of Manila; 116 kms. south of Baguio City; and approximately 150 kms. west of the Clark Special Economic Zone. It is nestled at the foot of the Caraballo Mountain Range, and it is bounded by the Sierra Madre Mountain in the east, Municipality of Carranglan in the North, Municipalities of Lupao and Talugtog in the West and Science City of Muńoz and Llanera in the South.

Private Schools, Nagpagalingan sa Sports

Nagsimula na ang paligsahang pampalakasan ng mga pribadong eskwelahan sa San Jose nang buksan ang ikalimang Elementary Private Schools Athletic Meet o PRISAA kahapon sa PAG-ASA Sports Complex.

Labing-anim na pribadong eskwelahan ang magla-laban sa mga larong basketball, volleyball, badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, sepak takraw, athletics at Chess.

Sa nasabing okasyon, inilahad ni Punong Lungsod Marivic V. Belena ang napipintong pakikipag-sanib-pwersa ng Dibisyon ng San Jose sa Dibisyon ng Nueva Ecija para sa darating na Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association Meet o CLRAA.

Mababawasan ang mga atletang delegado ng lungsod sa pagsasanib-pwersang ito subalit umaasa ang lungsod na ang Dibisyon ng San Jose ang magkaroon ng pinakamalaking delegado.

Dahil dito, hinimok ng Punong Lungsod ang mga batang atleta upang pagbutihin at ipakita ang kanilang galing upang sila ay mapili sa Division Meet na magiging tulay patungo sa pakikibahagi sa Provincial Meet, CLRAA, at maging sa Palarong Pambansa.

Sa Biyernes, ika-tatlo ng Oktubre, gaganapin ang awarding at ang mga magsisipagwagi ang siyang lalaban sa Division Meet.
