Water Facilities and Services
The San Jose City Water District having a technical cooperation and supervision with the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) supplies the potable water needs of the city. It has an existing water supply system, which serves 14 barangays of the city with a total of 5,348 service connections as of December 2009, a total of 5,447 as of June 2010 serving different type of consumers. The types of consumers are as follows: domestic 4,972 or 91% connections and commercial, 475 or 9% connections as of June 2010. Table 34 shows the served population from January to December 2009.
